In other news, I am officially ONE PRESENT AWAY from being done with my Christmas shopping! Rejoice! How are you doing on your shopping? Also, dear Internet, I need some undereye circle help. Like, in a bad way.  Please recommend your favorite treatments and best makeup. Ya girl needs it.

  1. Thanks for mentioning me! You're awesome. Where does your bf live?

I'm hoping to finish up Christmas shopping this weekend. Had to wait til I got paid today ;) Plus we're meeting Matt's mom for gift exchange on the 20th so I have to get my butt on gear.

I love Clinique's "all about eyes" undereye concealer. It covers my circles really, really well. The best way to get rid of them, that I have seen, is eating and sleeping right! Also, allergies can cause them as well.

Also, taco soup is the shit.

  2. Girl, how could I NOT? Just this morning I was reading Twitter and realized that whoever runs Phan Art is a big Syracuse fan - our lives overlap in these cosmically weird ways. My boyfriend is living in downtown St. Louis, just a few blocks from the baseball stadium. You're in IL, right? Have you guys gotten any snow yet!?

I've been using Garnier's eye roller thingy, which I love, but I guess end-of-semester madness is just too much for it 'cause it has NOT been cutting it lately. I'll have to look into this Clinique miracle.. thanks for the tip!

  3. That's awesome about PhanArt! His name is Pete, I believe. He's a really nice guy!

I pass by the stadium every time I got to work, haha. That's so funny! We definitely need to get together as soon as you're back here. I am in Illinois but so close to the city that our weather is the same lol. No snow yet, just a few flurries!

Try Clinique! I really like it.

  4. I love all of those things! And you're only 4 days away from homemade peppermint hot chocolate and mochas! I also recommend peppermint whipped cream. So yummy!

  5. "Cambria font – bigger than Times, but still accepted by professors." This is by far THE BEST "love" of the week, and I COMPLETELY agree with you! =)

  7. Click the picture of the hot chocolate!
But you could probably also just add peppermint syrup - like from Kristen (check out her comment above - she makes jams and spreads and delicious syrups too!) :)

  8. And there's even a good excuse attached, since Word defaults to Cambria! LOVE!

  9. So EXCITED! You've got me thinking about some vanilla bean syrup now too... how long are they good for? If I bought the vanilla now, would I be able to use it in a few months?

  13. The peppermint and vanilla don't go bad and I keep them both on my counter by my espresso machine.
